Antonio Carlos Teixeira – (Lattes CV) Journalist, postgraduate in Environmental Sciences (UFRJ); Professional experience consolidated in 24 years in the areas of Communication, Publishing and Sustainability, notably as Journalist, Press and Communication Advisor, Editor, Publishing Manager, Communication, Marketing and Publications Manager and Communication Consultant. Communication Consultant for Sustainability, Corporate Advisor to transition to a Low Carbon Society. Former communication advisor for GHG mitigation project in key sectors of Brazil (UN-UNEP / MCTI, 2015-2016). Consultant / trainer of the first Environmental Communication and Journalism Course promoted by the United Nations Development Program (UN-UNDP, São Tomé and Príncipe, September 2014); Member of the Official Delegation of the Brazil Germany Chamber for a visit to the IFAT Entsorga 2010 (International Water, Sewage and Recycling Fair), Munich, Germany; Organizer and co-author of the book “A Questão Ambiental – Desenvolvimento e Sustentabilidade” / (The Environmental Issue – Development and Sustainability – Rio de Janeiro: Funenseg, 2004); Author of articles, lecturer and mediator (congresses, debates, panels) in the areas of communication, insurance, environment, environmental education and sustainability; Co-author of the project “Proposal of environmental education actions for Ilha Primeira, Barra da Tijuca – RJ” (Brazil, 2005); Publisher, videomaker and jury of environmental film festivals.

  1. “Mãos de Césio”, uma exposição fotográfica sobre o maior acidente nuclear ocorrido no Brasil, o acidente radiológico de Goiânia, em 1987,
    vai ser exibida na Cúpula dos Povos durante o Rio+20.

    Mãos de Césio é o resultado de uma grande pesquisa realizada pelo Jornalista Norbert Suchanek e conta com o acervo da Associação das Vítimas do Césio 137 de Goiânia (AVCésio), do Programa Memória Roberto Pires e do Centro de Pesquisa e Documentação do Jornal do Brasil (CPDoc JB).
