Key documents on social development in Africa are available at the website “Publications Library” of RIO+ Centre
Two key outputs of a recent African Union (AU) meeting on social development have been uploaded to the RIO+ Centre’s website’s Publications Library under the “Poverty and Social Protection” thematic area, in English, Portuguese, French and Arabic.
These include the Report of the Ministers and the final Declaration of the First Meeting of the Specialised Technical Committee on Social Development, Labour and Employment (STC-SDLE-1) of the AU which took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 20-24 April 2015. Both reflect the Dakar Recommendations on social protection that were presented at the Addis meeting by Rômulo Paes de Sousa, the Director of the RIO+ Centre.
