The arrangement of three global sustainable development events in 2015 inspired the World Centre for Sustainable Development (RIO+ Centre) to publish a document to help understand the context. “2015: The Make or Break Year for a Sustainable Future” was conceived as a miniguide explaining the key topics on the Development Agenda for 2015.

It is not likely that humankind will see such a complex and wide-ranging agenda being negotiated in a single year any time soon. The number of official and preparatory meetings related to the Post 2015 Development Agenda is a prime example of the dimension and level of ambition of the transformation agenda being drafted.

This working paper recaps the key events related to the topics analyzed (i.e. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Financing for Development, and Climate Change), in their respective fora, and…
