Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA): stakeholders share their views

Approximately 300 stakeholders involved in climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practice and policy had the opportunity to share their views and to let them be counted on Gender and CSA.

A survey on these two issues was carried out between August 11th and September 12th, 2014 targeting mainly the five focus countries (Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe) of the Gender and CSA Assessment that is being conducted by the RIO+ Centre and Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN).

The survey also included colleagues from the wider Sub-Saharan Africa region, often working in our focus countries but based elsewhere e.g. Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Cameroon and South Africa. In total, we received 104 complete responses.
